RC ADVENTURES - 2013 Ford F-150 FX4 Truck w/ Appearance Package Off-road at a Dirt Track

Click to Subscribe! ► - Time to hit the dirt race track with this truck. This rig is almost identical to one of my full scale rigs back in 2012. Only difference was mine was a crew cab. The exhaust sound in the beginning is from my full scale rig now, 2013 Ford F150 with Ecoboost and 4" Stage 2 Cold Air, and 4" aFe Exhaust. The IFS (independent front suspension) really does change the driving experience compared to a straight axle setup in an Radio Control 4x4 truck. it's quite shocking how well it handles. Also, when this film is slowed down you can really see the wheels and tires working on their own. The rear leaf spring setup is dialled in nicely.
Part 1:
This truck started off as a Tamiya CC01, but the tub chassis has been extended with frame rails, and is powered by a 2s Lipo Battery. This truck has a 540 brushed motor, a Traxxas XL5 ESC, Savox Waterproof steering servo. All gears are stock CC01. All bearings are covered in CowRC "udder budder" waterproof grease. This helps prevent the bearings from becoming soaked when in muddy conditions.
