Have you ever tried kampong durian or “campur kahwin” durian ? In general these are durians from just out of town in Ulu Langat . They are “unbranded” and as such have a different quality to it. So is their price. RM10RM12 per kilo or RM10 for two .Yes, highly affordable and you can still bargain. Usually sold by local natives or Indonesians . The fruits are usually half hard and best bought and eaten on the spot to avoid them being “sang fung sui” or dehydrated and harden.Have a go at it and don’t expect marvelsbut a good experience nevertheless.
