MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has
hit at DAP leaders for misleading the Chinese community on the Unified Exam Certificate (UEC’s) recognition.
He quoted a report where Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chief strategist Rais Husin explained that in addition to Malay language and History credits, UEC students also needed to have credits in Science and Mathematics, while DAP had long stated that the students would only require credit in Malay language.
Dr Wee told reporters that Thursday night at the ceramah for MCA’s candidate Tan Chee Teong, who is vying for the Balakong state seat.
