Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador said police are open to looking into an imprisoned officer involving a drug case who claimed that he was framed by another cop.
The IGP on Tuesday said even though he had received a convincing explanation from the officer investigating the case, Assistant Superintendent Saiful Bahari Yunus can still file a complaint if he is not satisfied with his case.
Saiful, who was from the Special Investigation Department (D9), claimed that the officer who purportedly framed him was charged in court recently for accepting bribes amounting to almost RM3 million.
