【本報訊】漫畫《老夫子》的原作者王家禧元旦日在美國逝世，享年93歲。《老夫子》在香港及東南亞出版逾半世紀，估計累積售出近一億冊，又曾多次改編拍成電影。王家禧筆下的老夫子、大番薯等經典漫畫人物，曾為幾代人帶來歡笑，是港人的「老朋友」，也是港人的集體回憶。 記者：麥志榮
