將軍澳壹傳媒大樓接連遭反佔中示威者圍堵，昨凌晨示威者更以帳篷陣通宵堵塞大樓多個出入口，阻止《蘋果日報》運往報攤。《蘋果日報》仝人在警方袖手旁觀下，與示威者經過一夜的鬥智鬥力，終出動兩架吊臂車才成功突圍，將《蘋果》送到讀者面前。雖然較平日送報時間延遲了多小時，甚至一度版面不齊，但感謝讀者不離不棄繼續支持，合力維持新聞自由不被破壞。
