【本報訊】新界近年發展迅速，鄉村舊屋多被清拆重建，不少逾百年珍貴文物隨時被當垃圾丟掉。大埔林村組成首支文物搶救隊，在殘破舊屋清拆重建前「尋寶」，搜集有逾百年歷史的「雞宅」及「八角雞公碗」等文物藏品，在今年底林村十年一度的太平清醮，公開給鄉民及公眾觀賞。
