跑手進行單腳蹲測試可評估核心肌群及下肢肌肉的力量、協調性及平衡力,有助了解跑步姿勢是否夠力及穩定。中大矯形外科及創傷學系講師李韋煜博士稱,若測試時膝部錯誤向內傾、盆骨向左右搖擺、軀幹過度向前傾等,反映測試不合格,代表肌肉可能力量不足,勉強跑步或會帶來肌肉勞損或痛症,建議可做側抬腿、下蹲橫行等訓練提升肌肉力量和穩定性,尤其大腿肌肉、核心肌群。若基本運動能力不足,可改為急步行或緩步跑10至20分鐘,然後持之以恒、循序漸進地增加運動量和強度。
