【本報訊】申訴專員公署主動調查揭發，有36間幼稚園申請並獲批收取超過上限40元的報名費，費用由50元至3,700元不等，即最高超額92倍；其中有收過千元報名費的幼稚園因而錄得逾百萬元盈餘。申訴署狠批教育局四宗罪，不單審批過程鬆散兼無標準，對幼稚園有盈餘視若無睹，盲目批准申請。
