【本報訊】元朗石塘村一荒廢空地前日有棄置車胎被燒着，62歲男工人離奇暈倒火場外約20米的一個貨櫃內，送院不治。消防認為火警有可疑，但事主死因則不明；警方翻查閉路電視調查後，終揭開事件真相。原來事發前，事主曾在附近燒垃圾並引起火警，其間他撲救不果，但卻因此吸入燒車胎引起的有毒濃煙，其後返回貨櫃終不支暈倒，送院搶救無效。
