人有高低起跌、順境逆境，相信深有體會者，側田絕對是其中之一。事關42歲的側田，29歲推出首張專輯即大賣，入行八個月便踏上紅館舞台，成為當年出道最短在紅館開騷的歌手。不過「人紅是非多」，低潮時曾經歷出賣和背叛的他，避走三年後返港重新出發，正如其歌曲名字《命硬》的側田，今年6月再踏紅館開騷，他說：「香港始終係屋企！」
