【本報訊】北角恐怖車禍中，肇事的62歲保母車司機吳耀宗以身擋車不果，遭捲入車底拖行20米，四條肋骨斷開，肺及腦部受損，昨仍留醫深切治療部。吳耀宗是退役華籍英兵，曾駐守運輸隊伍，退役前更是軍隊教車師傅，駕駛技術及安全意識一流。保母車隊負責人亦指吳有多年駕駛經驗，態度有保證。
