導演劉孝偉涉嫌行騙，多名苦主向《蘋果》引述警方指，劉已攜同妻女潛逃台灣。劉的外父是教會牧師，其外母怒斥他帶壞女兒，令她離家出走兼與家人反目，至今兩年無見面，外母一家亦因騙案一事遭人貼街招及上門追數。劉孝偉其實早已劣跡斑斑，曾任雜誌記者的他，因杜撰封面故事被解僱，亦曾出書暗示與藝人楊千嬅有過一段情，事後被千嬅大罵是「精神上強姦」。
