【本報訊】有市民大前日在大埔新娘潭溪澗活捉一條小鱷魚，交予漁護署，署方指目前仍需待小鱷魚長大以確認其品種。近年寵物棄養成風，不少人直接到郊外放生動物，《蘋果》在新娘潭發現懷疑非本地原生物種的烏龜。而行山人士則未受鱷蹤消息影響，繼續到溪澗休憩玩樂。
