【本報訊】涉殺妻的港大校委會成員、機械工程系副教授張祺忠被捕，張昨晨被捕前曾向偉倫堂宿生發出電郵，僅稱過去數天有警方人員在宿舍一帶出沒，是調查涉及其家庭的失蹤人口案件，呼籲宿生毋須擔心，並為引起大家憂慮致歉。張祺忠好友、浸大生物系前研究助理教授王凱峰向《蘋果》表示，上周五剛和張共膳，其間張表現「100%正常」，完全沒有提過有關妻子或家庭的問題，對消息感到震驚，「就算報道咁報，我都冇辦法相信係事實」。
