【本報訊】今次港鐵列車相撞信號系統供應商，由兩間法國及加拿大企業旗下的公司Alstom Hong Kong Limited和Thales Transport & Security (Hong Kong) Limited組成，合組為「Alstom-Thales DUAT Joint Venture」。該兩間公司的信號系統曾分別於新加坡及內地發生列車相撞意外，前者更承認行賄多國官員以獲取合約，遭美國重罰7.7億美元（約60億港元）。
