【本報訊】近年襲擊及滋擾巴士車長時有所聞，「月薪車長大聯盟」召集人葉蔚琳向資方提出的三大訴求中，其中一項是希望九巴加強宣傳避免車長受滋擾影響行車安全，危及乘客。其實現行法例已訂明乘客不得故意分散車長注意力，最高可判囚6個月；有大律師指刑罰過輕，當局應修訂法例加重刑罰。
