印裔妇女英迪拉和改教丈夫争子案出现转折，上诉庭周三批准全国警察总长卡立上诉，承认卡立拥有酌处权来决定是否执行逮捕令和夺回孩子。早前，怡保高庭谕令卡立必须逮捕改教丈夫，并夺回孩子以归还英迪拉，但卡立不愿执行庭令而提出上诉。
