公屋輪候冊突破28萬大關，新居屋也錄得超額認購，反映港人住屋需求殷切。政府最新文件顯示，房委會未來5年將提供9.33萬個公營房屋，當中1.78萬個單位為居屋及「綠置居」，餘下則為公屋單位。其中2019/20年度落成的7個居屋選址曝光，涉約6,200個單位，遍佈深水埗、荃灣及沙田等。有長策會成員預料，鄰近港鐵南昌站的深水埗發祥街西的市區居屋地盤，交通方便，勢必吸引無殼蝸牛爭崩頭申請。
