首相马哈迪今天主持内阁会议后宣布，尽管国际油价上涨，但国内汽油价格将维持不变。
马哈迪也透露，消费税确定会在6月1日停收。
“我们已确定会马上停收消费税，这交由相关部分负责，但不会超过6月1日。至于收费站的事，之后将会根据希盟的竞选宣言行事。”
