首相马哈迪今天在日本演讲时强调，当今政府不能延续前朝政府的陋习，包括用“偷”来的钱支付穆斯林出国朝圣。
马哈迪说，“我们不要继承他们（国阵）的坏习惯，所以有些人这次无法去朝圣，因为政府不会使用被偷来的钱，去支付他们的朝圣费用。”
