有百幾年歷史嘅中環嘉咸街街巿牌檔，噚日凌晨12點幾突然起火，當時喺結志街行返屋企嘅林先生離遠已經見到好大煙，佢初時仲以為有人拜神，再行過啲就見到牌檔火光熊熊，一片火海。咁啱旁邊建築地盤搭起棚架竹枝，火勢蔓延得好快，林先生聽到燒棚架嘅霹啪聲，附近威靈頓街一間酒店大約60個住客都要疏散暫避。
