首相安华表示，政府建议把服务税从现有的6%，增加至8%，但不包括餐饮及通讯领域的服务。
安华今天在国会提呈《2024财政预算案》时指出，为了增加政府的收入，同时不给人民增加负担，政府有必要实施税务改革。
“政府还将扩大征税服务的范围，包括物流、经纪业务、保险和卡拉OK等服务。”
