九巴宣佈改變現有月票每月1日起生效的做法，由9月1日起，市民購買月票後可以一周內自定生效日期，新月票可於生效日期後連續30日內使用，票價則維持現時780元，路線數量及搭乘上限亦維持不變，新安排已獲運輸署批准。
