槟州首长曹观友透露，槟州团结政府领导层已开会，并一致决定由公正党上阵双溪峇甲州席补选。

曹观友昨天在记者会上指出，公正党候选人曾三次赢得双溪峇甲州席，而这次他们将努力夺回这个议席。

此外，曹观友也宣布，委任槟州第一副首长兼槟州公正党署理主席莫哈末阿都哈密（Mohamad Abdul Hamid）出任这场补选的选举主任。

他表示，之后将委任4名分别来自团结政府成员党的人选，出任补选副主任。
