家庭主婦是勞損受傷高危一族,理工大學康復治療科學系副教授鄭樹基表示,家庭主婦日常做家務,經常用力重複動作,例如扭地拖、扭毛巾、反覆搓洗衣物,或使用重的菜刀切食物,用力炒餸或快速攪動食品,又常「拎重嘢」,這些都可引致上肢肌肉筋骨勞損。最常見的勞損毛病包括腱鞘炎、彈弓指、網球肘、高爾夫球肘、腕管綜合症等。家庭主婦平日多做伸展運動,例如舒展前臂及放鬆手指關節運動,可減低勞損受傷的風險。使用輔助用具也有助改善前臂肌肉過份用力的問題。
