一具連有胎盤及臍帶的初生男嬰屍體，昨晨被發現在香港仔避風塘海中浮沉，警方到場調查，發現嬰兒腰間被紅繩纏着，另一端連着一個逾10公斤重的船隻摩打鐵殼沉在水底。消防蛙人將嬰屍撈起後證實死亡，事後移送殮房等候驗屍確定死因。警方重案組接手調查，正追查男嬰生母下落。發現屍體的船家猶有餘悸，稱本以為屍體是垃圾，「再睇就見到隻手仔」。
