下午1時半左右，一名男子報警求助，指在淺水灣南灣坊對上失足，跌在10米下山坡，背部受傷。消防員及救護員到場沿山路找尋，隨後發現傷者倒卧在山坡草叢中，初步檢視他可能有骨折，行動不便。政府飛行服務隊奉召到場，救援人員為傷者固定傷勢後，由直升機吊運送往醫院治理。
