雪州行政议会今日议决，将在11月召开的雪州立法议会会议中，动议削减大臣、正副议长与行政议员的薪金，惟州议员的薪金则保持不变。雪州议会曾在去年11月22日通过，调整大臣、正副议长、行政议员与州议员5大职位的薪金。由于薪金涨幅高达87%至373%，引起全国哗然。
