17号凌晨12点40分不幸在霹雳打巴一场车祸中丧命的行动党强人卡巴星，遗体已经在清晨7点20分送往怡保医院。警方表示，事发时卡巴星车上有5人，卡巴星和助理麦克当场死亡，他的印尼女佣脑部出血、情况危殆，至于儿子38岁的南以及司机没有受伤。
