虽然财政部已经对 "政府变卖国家资产"的指控做出反驳，但公正党策略局主任拉菲兹今天坚称，政府毫无计划地变卖和典当资产，足以证明国家财务状况严峻，迫使政府狗急跳墙。而这种"走捷径"获取资金的方式，将会成为一种习惯。他也以美国次贷危机为鉴，警告政府如果持续以此获取资金，后果将非常严重。
