抗癌勇士司馬燕本月十日病逝，終年五十一歲，當日司馬燕在睡夢中離開，前日是她的頭七，家人請來已出家的前攝影師葉青霖（現是常霖法師）在她家誦經，司馬燕丈夫吳忠義依亡妻遺願，安排她長眠加拿大。
