不少女士都希望收緊臀部肌肉,但又擔心過度鍛煉腳部肌肉,會練出一雙「粗腿」。中文大學矯形外科及創傷學系助理講師李韋煜表示,女士的男性荷爾蒙水平其實比男士低,故女士不容易出現肌肉肥大(muscle hypertrophy)效果。另外,訓練臀部肌肉,可有效提升跑步和游泳等運動的表現,並有收緊臀部線條功效。
訓練動作主要針對臀部和大腿肌肉,可改善平衡力和協調。做訓練前,先做三分鐘熱身或其他動態伸展運動。完成1至3為一個循環,共做兩至五個循環,動作適應後可逐漸加快。
