【本報訊】吸煙不單止危害身體健康，更危害荷包健康。中大醫學院推算，香港每名每日吸一包煙的煙民，一生花約114萬港元買煙草產品，若將花費改用於投資，至退休時足夠購買一個新界400呎單位自住。為健康及財富增值，學者呼籲煙民戒煙，但有煙民稱吸煙心癮難除，更聲言「唔食煙應該幫唔到買樓」。
