【本報訊】38歲菲籍外傭兼單親媽媽Baby Jane Allas，受聘來港一年多，近月確診患第三期子宮頸癌。Allas其後遭僱主以患癌為由解僱，喪失醫療保障，無法繼續在公立醫院治療，兩周後更要離港。僱主還涉嫌拖欠她逾萬元薪金。徬徨中她獲妹妹的僱主伸出援手，讓她暫住其家，並代為向平機會及勞工處申訴，又在網上眾籌醫藥費。勞工處表示已接獲有關個案。
