【本報訊】撐中國隊熱潮今非昔比。港府邀請中國奧運金牌運動員本月底訪港3天，但規模大縮水。據了解，上屆在香港大球場舉行、可容納2.65萬人的「金牌精英大匯演」，今屆改在灣仔伊利沙伯體育館進行，最多只得3,500個座位。有學者認為，匯演規模收窄，料港府考慮到有團體藉此表達對中央政府不滿，「唱國歌時用背脊對住你，都已經夠肉酸」。
