約60名大嶼山村民不滿政府發展當地，但多年來卻未有完善交通配套，令交通超負荷，假日更出現人車爭路。村民昨晨走出羌山道堵塞通往寶蓮寺路段抗議，有村民憂開放大嶼山自駕遊令交通更危險。其間大批巴士及旅遊巴在山路中寸步難行，上山車龍長達5公里。大批警員到場調停，兩個多小時後始通車。
