【本報訊】950米高的大帽山之巔，有一個被稱為「政府秘密基地」的地方，這處的圓形建築物肩負重大任務，天文台能夠提早警告市民暴雨將至，都是靠它收集數據。這個基地「大腦」就是大帽山天氣雷達站的雷達，運作時如同微波爐，強烈的電波可把人「叮熟」，過往未曾向外開放，《蘋果》記者早前獲准首度進入窺探，了解它如何探測「黑雨」到來。
