公正党波德申国会议员安华提呈动议，希望国会允许辩论联合国《反种族歧视国际公约》（ICERD）的课题。但是议长阿里夫认为，此课题并非紧急课题，因此驳回了安华的动议。
安华今天在国会里表示，ICERD课题引起各界的争议，尽管内阁已经议决不签署ICERD，但国会议员应该有权提供正面的看法。
但议长阿里夫强调，这项动议必须满足三个条件，但这并不是紧急的课题，进而坚持驳回动议的决定。
