尼泊爾昨天中午時分發生黎克特制7.9級大地震，震央鄰近首都加德滿都（Kathmandu），是該國逾80年來最強地震，大量建築、包括逾百年歷史的地標九層塔被夷平，毗鄰的印度、巴基斯坦、孟加拉和中國西藏都有震動，造成至少1,505人死亡，包括四名中國人。地震並引發珠穆朗瑪峯大雪崩，至少10死30傷。
