【本報訊】新一期居屋反應熱烈，房屋委員會周二起派發申請表，短短三日，樂富居屋銷售中心已派出95,100份申請表；位於油塘大本型商場的示範單位共有17,000人參觀。長遠房屋策略督導委員會委員王坤估計，新居屋最少接獲10多萬份申請，隨時超額認購60倍。
