【本報訊】長洲太平清醮搶包山比賽前日因雷暴取消，而另外3個包山架合共兩萬個平安包亦因天雨變壞，昨日派發4,000個新製的平安包，吸引外籍遊客排隊感受習俗，但不少新包有霉點。長洲太平清醮值理會主席翁志明指，之前變壞的平安包會交去廚餘中心堆肥，堅持包山架要掛真包以保持傳統，「我哋有傳統習俗，3座包山始終堅持用真包，比賽包山架就可以用仿真包」。
