律政司长恩姑诺费沙不点名地表示，不针对性侵案提控公正党主席安华。恩姑诺费沙在文告中表示，在仔细研究警方的调查报告后，发现有违反事实以及无法支撑指控的资料。
她写道，“我们也发现没有足够的说辞，以支撑报案中的指控。”
检控团队因此决定同意警方的看法结束这宗案件，直至有新的说法。
