团结党主席慕尤丁指控国阵一些领袖威胁公务员，“如果他们在大选投给希盟，将被对付。”
慕尤丁呼吁公务员别对国阵的威胁感到害怕，“公务员不该被任何政党威胁，人民大选时投票的权利也不该被质疑。不尊重公务员独立的政党，没有资格获得公务员的支持。”
“投票是秘密的，所以公务员不必对任何一方，包括国阵的威胁感到害怕。”
