【本報訊】唐狗女「咖啡妹」去年中被領養，可是10個月後體重由原來15.8公斤暴跌至8.8公斤，領養人讓瘦至皮包骨的小狗接受獸醫檢查，結果發現小狗營養不良，胃部停止運作，內臟萎縮，性命垂危。其後小狗獲安排領養的志願機構取回照顧，義工質疑有人疏忽照顧。現時小狗康復增磅，志願機構曾報警但未獲受理，表示日後會慎選領養人。
