【本報訊】港島薄扶林道一個地盤昨晨發現重約500磅戰時炸彈，爆炸品處理課人員研究即場引爆，附近住客需緊急疏散。根據資料，前年10月，距離上址約400米外的瑪麗醫院重建地盤，亦發現一個直徑約9吋的戰時炸彈，當時需疏散附近工作人員及住客共逾500人。2000年3月，瑪麗醫院一地盤曾發現一枚直徑約12吋、重約500磅戰時炸彈，需疏散逾千人。
