伊党主席哈迪阿旺认为，巫统和土著团结党断交的行为是忘恩负义的做法，更批评巫统的“法庭簇群”派系领袖策动州选，以便重回权力中心。
根据哈迪阿旺面子书的影片，他在接受媒体采访时批评巫统坚决和团结党切割既不道德也不正确。
“有人在第14届大选后断了脚，我们拯救了那只断脚的鸭(...)不幸的是，当他的脚痊愈了,就想要自己游泳了，要抛弃我们。”
哈迪阿旺也直言，巫统内的“法庭簇群”派系领袖应该在法庭抗辩，而不是为求自保地策动州选。
“如果有道德的话，在法庭辩护，别给人民添麻烦。举行州选就会扰民，要自保却给人民增添麻烦。”
