電影《喇叭書院》中，樂團成員找不到地方練習，要去草地和躲到卡啦OK房中，因為聲量太大還要被人趕走，城市與音樂似乎總是存在必然矛盾。在香港的「大西北」天水圍也有個「喇叭樂團」，成員要走過陰暗小徑、被野狗追，去到荒野才有地方練習。雖然團員覺得「好崎嶇」、「好似行山咁」，「被狗追都驚驚地」，但這群人仍然為興趣走在一起玩音樂，為大西北注入生氣。
