【本報訊】逾160年歷史、被評為一級歷史建築的灣仔洪聖廟，多年來香火不斷，今年4月閉廟復修，為近百年來首次。管理者東華三院指洪聖廟內的木造樑柱數年前開始被蟲侵蝕，年初蛀蝕程度更達七成，東院遂募捐140萬元，耗時3個月更換所有樑柱。有捐贈者倡洪聖廟發展成旅遊景點，爭取香油錢外收入來源，東院現計劃組織洪聖廟及灣仔其他古廟，推出導賞團吸引遊客。
