【本報訊】大圍一名退休漢經常自行維修家居，近日大廈外牆食水管爆裂，他自行更換水管後，昨凌晨在三樓寓所用梯爬出屋外，手持電筒到樓下平台檢查水管有否漏水，其間疑不慎失足墮樓，跌至五米下後巷傷重昏迷，其妻稍後發現報警求助，事主送院搶救後不治，妻子傷痛不已。附近街坊事後到現場燒香拜祭。
